“We were here in november 2024. It was just a wonderful experience. Erica was such a lovely host and the self made organic breakfast was just delicious (not like many other breakfasts we are during our trip to the US ). I can only recommend this Inn for all of the people who want to have a quiet time and a great experience. Thank you for everything. Hopefully we will come back one day in our life.”

“We had a great one night stay at the inn. Check in was very easy with Peter greeting us as we pulled up. We hiked the trail connected to the property for great views at the top of Lantern hill and had a nice dinner at a nearby restaurant. It's also a nice drive along a country road to the town of Mystic. In the morning our made to order breakfast arrived to the room on time allowing us time to relax before heading home. When we arrived home we realized that we left a jacket in the room and Erika graciously arranged to have it shipped back to us.”

“Room was perfect, beautiful, warm, comfortable, spacious and romantic with the tub. Everything was very clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious. It was really nice to select the choices the day before, come in the next morning to a hot breakfast. Erica was really nice, hospitable and made wonderful breakfast each day.”

“Living in Manhattan, my husband and I are always looking for quiet, peaceful getaways with a unique touch and Abbey’s delivered on all of that. The property is surrounded by lovely trails (we tried the one right behind the house) and is conveniently close to Stonington and Mystic downtown (less than 20 min drive), where we enjoyed dinner every night. It’s also about a 15-minute drive from Mystic Station (we took the Amtrak). Erika and Peter were incredibly warm and welcoming hosts. The care they put into curating unique breakfasts each morning truly stood out and made our stay feel special. My husband and Peter also hit it off over conversations about soccer and cricket We stayed in the Country Room, which was spacious and comfortable, with two single sofas, a small writing desk, microwave, fridge, and coffee machine. While the in-room setup was great, we especially enjoyed their freshly brewed coffee during breakfast, thoughtfully sourced from a roaster. One minor note: the shower is a bit small, and the sloped ceiling above the toilet could be challenging for taller or larger guests. When I shared this with Erika, she received the feedback with grace and understanding- something that really speaks to the kind of host she is! We would have loved to stay in one of the rooms with a jetted tub but booked a bit late, next time for sure . Thank you, Erika and Peter, for a memorable end to 2025 and a peaceful beginning to 2026.”

“My wife and I spend two wonderful nites and it was the most pleasant experience anyone can have. Erika is a sweetheart, she was accommodating in every way. The house is clean comfortable and very well kept. The breakfast Erika made was fantastic, the blueberry pancakes were to die for. The staff was great and the grounds surrounding the house are absolutely beautiful. Price was very reasonable (I would have paid more to be honest). I’m sure running your own house for others to stay in is a daunting task but Erika and her staff has the place flowing like a well oiled machine. The pillows we had were so soft and cozy I took pictures of the tags to get them at our house. THANK YOU FOR A WONDERFUL STAY Rob M”

“My wife and I were looking for a quiet, romantic place to celebrate our belated Valentine's Day togegher and we were lucky enough to find this gem. After reading all the awesome reviews, we didn't hesitate to book right away. We chose the fireplace suite with 2 person jacuzzi tub. The room was super cozy and inviting! The bed was beyond comfortable and the decor was rustic enough to give it that cabin in the woods feel while maintaining a certain level of modern charms. We appreciated the attention to the local Native American history as well. Erika is a wonderful host and her fresh made breakfasts were absolutely delicious. We cannot wait to return to Abbey's Lantern Hill Inn and we'll be sure to recommend it to all of our friends and family. We wish we could rate this place 10 stars!!”
